Holly, so sorry to hear about your illness. Am very supportive and sending much love and prayers your way for your journey which has begun but is far from over. I know that so much good will come of this because you are who you are - a true yogi!

Robin, I love the posts... you should (in your spare time, of course) make a documentary and sell it.. this is so good, I look forward to the visuals and the comments. Holly, take care... only drink what has been boiled.

Holly, Peter and Tim were horribly sick when they first got to India.. but improved by the end of a week. Chris was fine and so was Michael. Michael had been in Malaysia before landing in India.. and he picked up some immunization from the bacterial strains...
Keep drinking and sleeping. Nice baths with lavender soap will help. How is Robin??? I hope she is ok.

i have 16... or 15 minutes of internet access. so very quickly: a. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! b. OH NO!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! Are you better? What is happening??? c. I MISS YOU BOTH!!! As you can see, these are all very important messages, and their urgency combined with my time constraints necessitate the obnoxious capital letter-yelling. Love and well wishes. Peace

I was so excited for you and Robin to watch the posting of your flight and arrival to India. Today, I am saddened to read our your tummy troubles and health challenges. I will make pujas to the 2 Ganesh statues I have (one I purchased in Pune, the other one Patricia gave to me -- they both are auspicious) to remove all obstacles and for your return to wellness and strength. Be gentle on yourself and take things slowly. There is so much I want to say, but mostly want you to know that Ron and I are thinking of you and sending you lots of love. My humble opinion is that the best thing to do for staying well while in India is to eat yogurt -- there it is called "plain curds" -- with every meal. It puts the local, pro-biotics into your system. Don't eat riata, which has uncooked veggies mixed in. Hugs to you and Robin. 108 Namastes.

OHHHH.... Holly I am soo very sorry for you to be sick! My heart and energy go out to you and Robin and I pray that you will regain strength to finish your journey. Regardless of the outcome, I know that you take with you pearls of wisdom from this experience and if you come home to return next year, will be that much richer for it all. Much love....

Robin, the pictures are stunning and beautiful. We have conditions here, in the US, that will stun you. But leaving Western countries and seeing conditions, many of which are culturally imbedded,i.e., the untouchables clean the toilets; on their hands and knees with a tiny brush.. and you know what the toilets are like. Nothing like it in our experience.
These pictures show why disease is rampant everywhere and why child mortality is so high.. truly awesome.. thank you.. You might want to get Lisa Ling's Documentary about brothels.. taken in Delhi.
On another note.. Happy Birthday, Holly... have the best day everyone...
